Uniroyal® Laredo® AWT II Tire Offers Better Handling and Tread Life
GREENVILLE, S.C. (July 11, 2008) - Uniroyal introduces the new Laredo AWT II Tire. This high-quality tire offers outstanding on- and off-road performance and durability, all at the affordable Uniroyal price. This all-terrain tire has improved tread life and wet and dry handling compared to the original Laredo AWT because of the advanced polymer tread compound and stress-optimized contact patch. And like all Uniroyal products, DuraShield® construction is at the heart of this product. The Laredo AWT II will be available for delivery after July 1 and dealers may contact customer service to place orders now. This new Light Truck and SUV tire will be available in 21 sizes, this includes 13 P-metric S speed and 8 LT metric Q speed rated sizes. However, three sizes (indicated below) will remain as the original AWT until April 2009. It is an ideal tire for today's light trucks and SUVs - including the Toyota Tacoma, Ford F150, Chevy Avalanche, Chevy Tahoe, Ford Expedition and Jeep Grand Cherokee, among others.
